Learning Path
The planet’s climate has consistently been changing over geological time, with significant fluctuations of global average temperatures. However, the current period of warming is occurring more rapidly than any past events.
The right to water entitles everyone to have access to safe, sufficient and reliable water. It requires the state to take reasonable legislative and other measures, within its available resources, to achieve the progressive realisation of this right.
